5DM acted within the Project Management Consultant team, undertaking Leadership and Owner’s Representative roles for the delivery of the first building on a new hyperscale data centre campus in southern Belgium. As the client’s leadership and technical authority, we were responsible for steering the project through procurement and into site construction. We provided Project Director and Design Interface leadership from site logistics through design review and engagement with the supply chain early to support constructability.

5DM acted within the Project Management Consultant team, undertaking Owner’s Representative roles for the delivery of further buildings on an established hyperscale data centre campus in the Netherlands. As the client’s technical authority, we were responsible for steering the project through procurement and into site construction. We provided Design Interface leadership from site logistics through to design review, alongside early supply chain engagement to support constructability.

5DM is responsible for the strategy and detailed design of a water reuse project — a significant scheme in terms of sustainability and water efficiency within the data centre sector. Our services span hydraulic design and civil engineering, including route evaluation and 3D coordination with existing utilities across highly congested London roads. By resolving complex interfaces below ground and optimising the route through constrained urban infrastructure, we are helping deliver a solution that supports increasing water use efficiency.

5DM acted within the Project Management Consultant team, undertaking Leadership and Owner’s Representative roles for the delivery of the second building on a new hyperscale data centre campus in southern Belgium. As the client’s leadership and technical authority, we were responsible for steering the project through procurement and into site construction. We provided Project Director and Design Interface leadership from site logistics through to design review, alongside early supply chain engagement to support constructability. With the second building developed in parallel to the first, we managed the added complexity of concurrent delivery — coordinating shared site setup, earthworks, and logistics across a live, active campus.

5DM worked as an extension to the developer client team, developing the project from Technical Due Diligence, through consultant selection and into design delivery. Coordinating between Developer, land owner, power application & consultant team, 5DM worked to unlock capacity to a fast track delivery project.

5DM worked advising the developer and land owner on technical due diligence. The site required a complex review of permitting; site constraints and demolition to realise the data centre opportunity.

As the client’s technical authority, we were responsible for steering the project through procurement and into site construction. We provided Design Interface leadership from site logistics through to design review, alongside early supply chain engagement to support constructability.

5DM acted as Strategic Advisor and fulfilling senior technical (fractional CTO) support to the developer to bring the data center opportunity from initial vision to procurement and leadership of technical consultant team, contractor procurement and permitting. The site represents a significant AI Data Center campus opportunity with both utility grid and behind the meter (BTM) power strategies.

5DM acted as Strategic DD lead. We developed a blockfit and utility coordination to allow the client to understand the potential MW output.

5DM has undertaken Civil Engineering and Electrical Owner’s Representative roles for the development of HV substations from 380kV to 33kV.
